Speed Chess
Blitz chess against the computer, in the browser. Each side starts with five minutes. Settings has 1, 3, 5 and 10 minute clocks and Easy, Medium and Hard. The computer looks ahead before every move, further on Hard.
Click or tap a piece, then a square. Undo, sound and settings are in the toolbar.
I made it by typing what I wanted into mChatAI+, an app I'm building. The first request was:
Chess versus the computer with an Easy / Medium / Hard difficulty selector. The computer opponent MUST use a real chess engine (minimax with piece-square evaluation) that defends its pieces and does not give away material — not random moves.
